Paper program
HCI Korea 2016’s paper program features technical papers on diverse areas related to HCI, including
technology, design, humanity, and social science. HCI Korea 2016 plans to solicit contributions in three
categories:
- All papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
- Additionally, all full papers will appear in ACM Digital Library. However, upon request an accepted
full paper may not be uploaded to the Digital Library and published only in the conference proceeding. -
All accepted full papers will be presented in oral sessions. Some papers could be recommended
to be presented in the interactive poster sessions. Papers for the interactive posters sessions will be
included in the Extended Abstract Proceedings. -
All accepted extended abstract will be presented in oral or interactive poster sessions,
depending on review results. Authors may choose preference for the presentation upon submission
of the manuscript.
- Additionally, all full papers will appear in ACM Digital Library. However, upon request an accepted

1) Paper submission
• Papers should be submitted using the paper submission site below. Please use the paper templates
below for your manuscript. Only PDF files are allowed for the submission.

- 1) HCI Korea uses a double-blind review process for paper selection in all categories.
Please suppress all the author-related information, e.g., authors’ name, affiliation, and self-citation,
in your manuscript for review. - 2) If you have an inquiry, please contact the secretariat at hci@hcikorea.org.
* Please check the paper submission deadline so that you can prepare early.
2) Paper review and result notification
All submitted papers will be carefully reviewed by the program committee, and acceptance notification
will be announced on the submission site after November 23. through email and through the website.
3) Final paper submission
Camera ready version of the accepted papers should be uploaded by December 16 (Thu).
Camera ready version of the accepted full papers should be in MS Word or HWP file formats.
For the papers in Extended Abstract proceedings, only PDF file format is accepted for the camera ready version.

Best Paper Award
All papers presented at the conference will be evaluated by evaluation committee for the best paper award,
and the best poster presentation award. Selected papers will also be recommended to submit
extended version to HCI journal (indexed in KCI).
